Production Battle

PRODUCTION BATTLE OF THE BEST

Revised 06.22.17          << Back to NATIONALS Page

The top 5 highest scoring line/production studios will advance to the Production Battle and compete a second time to determine the Production Battle Champions. Qualifying studios may select any routine that competed at Nationals in the Line/Production division for the Production Battle. Dancers/Studios may only occupy one spot in the PB competition. Routines are NOT judged on a score sheet but rather observed and RANKED based on best Showmanship and Entertainment value.

DX will be awarding a cash prize to the PB winner. If there are 750 acts competing at nationals and five routines competing in the PB age category, then the winner will receive:

  • $500 cash prize
  • Six (6) foot high Trophy
  • Banner
  • Jackets for all dancers, teachers, and directors

Winners are also invited to compete at THE ONE FINALS next season.  http://www.theonefinals.com

Dollar amount will be adjusted to $300 if there are less than 750 acts and/or less than five routines vying for the PB title.

The 2018 Production Battle Champions will take home official Champion Jackets, sponsored by GTM Sportswear, immediately following the competition, along with a banner for their studio and a cash prize. Cash prizes are given in certificates to be used at future DX events.
